Ever wondered what it’s really like to work in Hollywood films? Guy Barrett gives us a first hand account of his time in front of the cameras but behind the stars as an extra.
What’s an extra? Crowds, street walkers, soldiers, you name it. They are the actors that fill up the screen but never steal the spotlight away from the high paid stars such as Tom Cruise, Cate Blanchett and Christopher Walken. Barrett’s impersonations and stories from the sets of some of the biggest movies ever made paint a unique and bittersweet tale most of us only wish we were apart of.
What was it like working under the controlling Stanley Kubrick or sitting next to Richard Harris as Dumbledore? Was it all worth it?
Watch and find out.
